Jump for Joy Equestrian Center-Covered Arena

Finally, A Place of Her Own!

Linda Luger owns and operates her new facility!

NOW OPEN!

Jump for Joy has moved into a new home near Magic Mountain in Valencia California.
The new center is a full service boarding/training facility on 8 acres featuring four arenas, one of which is covered.

Five Arenas!
The outdoor arena is 200'x 150' and the covered arena is 90'x 175'. These 2 arenas are adjacent to each other with a fence separating the two. Both have newly added sprinkler systems.

There is one other large arena, one small arena, and a round pen.
Footing conditions are an excellent sand base. All arenas lighting for evening work

Boy, have we made changes!

Here's a partial list of all the improvements we've made in just two short years:

We have:

  • installed a sprinkler system in both main arenas.
  • added two new tack rooms. (Tack room one is now complete with lights, electricity, new flooring, and a thermostatically controlled fan.)
  • plumbed water to the pipe corrals.
  • repaired countless plumbing leaks.
  • replaced the old rusted waterers with new, push-type waterers.
  • had parties!
  • upgraded the clubhouse to include couches, a refrigerator, and a microwave.
  • rubber matted all the stalls.  (one more to go)
  • begun rubber matting the aisles.
  • rubber padded the wood beams on the covered arenas.
  • reconfigured the pipe corrals by the road
  • reconfigured the pipe corrals in the barn.
  • built a new hay barn.
  • added a tractor.
  • switched to new bedding.
  • added lights.
  • improved the arena footing.
  • enlarged the upper arena.
  • bought and painted new jumps.
  • added cross ties in lower barn.
  • added custom swing arm in lower washrack.
  • added park benches.
  • added new street light along pathway.

And that's in our "spare time"!         More to come...
